Won’t I get the same results if I only come once a fortnight? The question of appointment scheduling is one which we discuss regularly with our new patients. The schedule of care that is decided on for your care is not something which we pluck out of thin air, it is carefully considered on a case by case basis depending on a variety of factors.
Firstly, it depends on the condition of your spine. Your schedule of care is heavily determined on the length of time that spine has been deteriorating for. This is different from the length of time which you have been experiencing your current symptoms. Your symptoms are merely the tip of the iceberg, here we focus on addressing the cause of your current condition which may have started long before you started experiencing pain.
Secondly, it depends on what you are currently and previously experienced, physical traumas (simple falls) have profound long term effects on your spine and are a large cause of subluxation. It isn’t limited there, subluxations are also caused by chemical and emotional trauma.
Thirdly, as I alluded to before it is likely that your spinal problem has been present for a prolonged period of time (we’re talking years!). Simply put it’s not possible to correct the cause in a couple of days which has been present for so long.
Finally everything in life takes time. While it would be amazing if we only needed to see you once and it magically fixes the cause of your problem, it’s just not the case. Healing takes time!
