It is extremely common for our patients to utilise both a chiropractor and a massage therapist, while this is totally fine, where we get into trouble is at the initial phase of pain.
Who should you choose, a chiropractor or a massage therapist?
Well (trying not to be too humble J) chiropractors are more experienced and having a minimum 5 years university degree, they are better trained to give you a correct diagnosis.
However, the decision is up to you!
If you want to get to the root of your problem?
Address the CAUSE?
Then the answer is simple, your first point of call should be your chiropractor.
Musculoskeletal conditions are the most common complaints people seek out massage and chiropractic. While both massage therapy and chiropractic are a DRUG-FREE alternative to pain unless you identify the cause of the condition it will continue to rear its ugly PAINFUL head. Massage will be effective in reducing the symptoms, however, the underlying cause is largely unaffected.
If you seek out a solution from your chiropractor first, they will address the cause and you will find that you will get longer lasting results from your massage sessions as well as your adjustments. Sometimes this will lead to you not needing massage as much anymore also. Saving you money. BUT, most of all your results will be better and far longer lasting!
If you are finding that your results aren’t lasting as long as they should, get in touch with us today and see what we can do to help!
I, Dr Jade, am ready to assist you in getting the most out of life!
